In response to The Daily Post’s weekly photo challenge: “Treat.”
On Friday, Jen H. of the Daily Post invited us to post photos showing a treat or indulgence. That afternoon, on may way home, I treated myself to a spontaneous stop at a shoreline park. I posted autumn pictures from there a few weeks ago. For me, it is relaxing to let go of routine ‘must do’ projects and play–whether by taking a picture or trying to scribble some poetry. Here are my favourite pictures from the excursion, featuring Canada geese, flying seagulls, moving Lake Ontario waters, inviting slabs of rock, and autumn colours.

Treats like these are definitely a great lift! Thanks for sharing. PS: My favourite pic was the very first one 🙂

Yes, it’s my favourite too as it shows so much and the lighting worked best. Thanks for taking a look. 🙂

What is it about water that so draws us in and makes us feel at peace?! A lovely treat indeed.
