Grain Glimmers in Autumn Sun–Ronovan’s Weekly Haiku Challenge #68

This morning I stopped to photograph glimmering autumn corn. The results, though attractive, don’t quite capture the real brightness of the scene that I saw, as unfortunately, I had to take the picture facing the sun.

Clouds drift, musing sun

sends flashes of gold, to grain

tucked behind tree fence.

Today’s haiku prompts, given to us by Ronovan, were ‘muse’ and  ‘pen’.  In my haiku I used ‘muse’, as a verb, and the image of an enclosure, for the word ‘pen’. To read other haiku inspired by our creative challenge host, please visit Ronovan Writes.
